Restaurante Hostal Playa was built in 1921. In 1934
 our family puchased it. Hostal Playa was the first Hotel opened in Colonia Sant Jordi and the number 349 in the official register of tourism of Majorca. Actually the Restaurante Hostal Playa is a hostel with two stars and the restaurant offers space for 70 guests.The house with its high ceilings, built in a typical mallorquian style, offers a confortabe and cool place in the summertime. Here you have a place with a marvellous  sea view and may find moments of calmness. The house is equipped with paintings and water-colours made by different artists, i.e. Juli Ramis and Carmen Alacrón. Also you find different decorations, potteries and plates with motifs all typical mallorquian. The grace of the building was not changed as we completly renovated it
1989.We 
are situated in the first line of a bay called "Cala Galiota". From here you have best view to the village of Colonia de Sant Jordi and the south of Majorca. Enjoy our service and have a superb dinner while the sunset.The owners of Restaurante Playa promises best service and hope to show you a part of the history of Colonia de Sant Jordi.

| Restaurante Playa offers a wide range of fresh menus from best quality prepared in its own kitchen. Choose direct on your table the fresh fish to be cooked for you. Our specialities are grilled fish together with "trampo", Paella or lamb. Select from our extensive menu. Of course we offer a daily changing menu (Monday to Friday).
